Subject: Revision of general terms and conditions

Dear Mr. Williamson:

We have received your Order No.102 of November 5 with many thanks.

However, we would like to ask you to revise two of the clauses in your General Terms and Conditions of Business. They are as given below.

1. Offers

In view of the heavy demand for our color printers, we would very much appreciate it if you would agree to shorten the period for your acceptance of our offers to 10 days.

The revised paragraph of this clause would be as follows:

Unless otherwise stated in each communication by fax, e-mail or letter, all offers shall be considered firm, subject to Buyerfs reply being received by Seller within ten (10) days from the date of dispatch.

2. Shipment

It could be that a vessel suitable for the contracted delivery time is not available or all the contracted products cannot be shipped by one vessel depending on the shipping schedule of a shipping company agreeable to Buyer, and therefore we would like to ask you to allow transshipment and partial shipments of the Products.

The revised paragraph of this clause would be as follows:

Seller shall ship the Products in a seaworthy vessel operated by a first class shipping company agreeable to Buyer. Ttransshipment and partial shipments shall be allowed. Seller shall advise Buyer of the particulars of the shipment of the Products by email as soon as the shipment is effected.

Sincerely yours,
