Dear Mr. Williamson:

On checking the L/C that we received from London Central Bank, Tokyo Office, we have found that the following three points are different from those stipulated in the purchase order.  

We would ask you to amend the L/C so that we can execute your order as contracted. We would much appreciate it if we could receive the amended document within a week.  

1. Expiry date of the L/C should be January 10, 20x1 instead of January 7, 20x1.  

2. Institute Cargo Clauses should be All Risks instead of ICC (A).  

3. Shipment(s) must be effected not later than December 31, 20xx instead of December 15, 20xx.
